David R. Malmberg is a video game developer who created the Adventure Game Toolkit for interactive fiction, as well as text adventure games including Adventure in Humongous Cave (based on the 550-point version of Colossal Cave Adventure), The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes, Crusade, Hurry! Hurry! Hurry!, and The World's Hardest Adventure.
He also ported several text adventure games to AGT including Adventure, Betty Carlson's Big Date, The Elf's Christmas Adventure, Odieus's Quest for the Magic Flingshot, Paranoia, PORK I: The Great Underground Sewer System, and The Squynchia Adventure.
