DLC expansions

Three downloadable content expansions were released. The first, The Wider World of Atari, was released worldwide on September 26, 2024. It added additional arcade, Atari 2600, and Atari 5200 games, including one game by Axlon and two games developed by Stern Electronics.

The second DLC expansion, The First Console War, was released worldwide on November 8, 2024. It also includes a game by Accolade for Atari 8-bit computer, Atari 2600 games by Atari, Atari 5200 games by Atari and its successor Atari Corporation, as well as an Atari 7800 game by General Computers Corporation.

The third DLC expansion, The Namco Legendary Pack, was released worldwide on November 13, 2025. It included Namco games, including the arcade releases published by Atari, as well as ports to Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, and Atari 8-bit computers.

Included systems

Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration contains a simulation of the 1974 LCD handheld game, Touch Me.

Emulated systems include arcade, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 7800, Atari 8-bit, Jaguar, and Lynx.

It also includes new games inspired by classic Atari games known as Atari Reimagined games.
