Hanimex is a brand name owned by Fuji.

History

Hanimex Corporation (Hannes Import Export) was founded in Australia in 1947 by Jack Hannes.

In 1987, they were acquired by Chase Corporation Limited. A holding company, Hanimex Australasia Pty Ltd. was founded and Hanimex became known as the Hanimax Group.

In 1989, they were acquired by Gestetner Corporation. Gestetner Corporation was acquired by Ricoh in 1996. After this, Gestetner became known as NRG Overseas Investment Ltd.

On April 22, 2004 Fuji acquired Hanimex Australasia Pty Ltd. and discontinued the Hanimex brand name.

Products

They sold cameras as well as video game consoles based on the Radofin 1292 Advanced Programmable Video System.
