Hi-Tech Sega was a chain of arcades in Japan, alongside Club Sega, Hi-Tech Land Sega, Joypolis, Sega Arena, Sega World, and Sega branded arcade locations.

The first Hi-Tech Sega location opened in 1988.

Renaming of Hi-Tech Sega locations

In December 2020, Genda purchased the majority of Sega's share of the stock in Genda Sega Entertainment.

On January 28, 2022, Genda purchased the remaining shares and renamed the company Genda GiGO Entertainment.

Beginning on March 9, 2022, and continuing in the following months, all of the Sega-branded arcades in Japan were rebranded as GiGO arcades.
