Warner Bros. Pictures

Warner Bros. Pictures, Inc. was founded by Harry Warner, Albert Warner, Sam Warner, and Jack L. Warner on April 4, 1923.

Warner Bros.-Seven Arts

Seven Arts Productions purchased Warner Bros. in 1966. The studio was renamed Warner Bros.-Seven Arts.

Warner Communications

Kinney National Services purchased Warner Bros. in 1969. The Kinney National Company was renamed Warner Communications while the studio was renamed Warner Bros., Inc.

Time Warner

On January 10, 1990, Time Inc. and Warner Communications merged to form Time Warner.

AOL Time Warner

On January 11, 2001, Time Warner and AOL merged forming AOL Time Warner.

AOL was spun-off from Time Warner in 2009.

Warner Media

On June 14, 2018, AT&T acquired Time Warner and renamed the company WarnerMedia.

Warner Bros. Discovery
