Dr. Mario is a Game Boy conversion of Dr. Mario for the Nintendo Entertainment System, the first game in the Dr. Mario series.
It was developed by Nintendo Research & Development 1 and published by Nintendo.
Aside from the monochrome graphics, it also had a different ending than the NES version.
