The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension was a text adventure game by Adventure International.
It was a video game adaptation of the 1984 film of the same name.
Adventure International went bankrupt in 1985 as a result of the video game crash of 1983. The rights to the game eventually reverted to Scott Adams, who re-released it for free as shareware.
